Clyde's Priorities in the Coming Term

1) Expand the supply of safe, attainable housing to keep our businesses and our essential service providers staffed and thriving.

2) Manage county finances to provide essential services for public safety, health and county operations.

3) Protect our valuable environment from wildfires to minimize destruction of our homes, our water resources, our wildlife, our lifestyle, and our recreational businesses.

4) Expand public transportation and improve our highways and bridges.

5) Strengthen the business community through financial partnerships and collaborations.

6) Continue to utilize Continuous Improvement methods with local input to improve the land use code, speed up the development process, and preserve property rights.

7) Advocate for La Plata County with Colorado Legislature through Colorado Counties Incorporated (CCI) and Colorado Counties Acting Together (CCAT).
